With this in mind, we have gathered a list of links to take you to sites which provide services to maximise your buying experience. We have divided these links into convenient categories to make it easy for you to find the service you require. ENJOY!

Bid Sniping

Bid sniping is probably the one single way in which buyers can secure that much sought after bargain. With bid sniping you can place your bid in the last few seconds of the auction, leaving no time for your competitors to react. You also avoid the “bidding war” which drives up the price of the item. We have assembled a comprehensive list of available sniping services for your review. (Note: Some of these bid snipers are in the form of software which is downloaded to your PC. These require your computer to be switched on and an internet connection available at the time of the bid. These snipers are marked with (D/L) for your convenience.)

Avoiding Fraud

You have probably heard all the usual horror stories about buyers being ripped-off by unscrupulous online sellers, both on and off eBay. Well, help is at hand. We have managed to find a really cool resource to help you to avoid these sharks, and protect yourself and your financial information from fraudsters and identity thieves.

For articles and forums relating to auction fraud and identity theft, the best place to go is, without a doubt, the well-known resource site, Auctionbytes.com. Here you will find a comprehensive list of related sites, articles, links to eBay’s own help and advice pages, hints and tips on how to deal with fraud, identity theft and other problems you may encounter.

Don’t let any of this scare you away from buying on eBay though! These kinds of fraud are rare and the vast majority of eBay sellers are honest, reputable people, trying to enhance their standard of living by selling goods on eBay. As a result they are very keen to please their customers.
